Feldenkrais

The Feldenkrais method is a philosophy of movement and self-improvement named for its creator, Moshé Feldenkrais. This exercise program focuses on awareness of movement, intending to teach the individual not to strain against their body but to learn to move in efficient ways that minimize damage to bones, muscles, ligaments, and other body tissues. This practice is not intended to treat specific ailments, but strives to improve movement patterns. By learning to minimize strain in day to day movement an individual can eliminate existing pains and can prevent movement induced injuries in the future.
