Yes! Starting in June of 2020, courses in the Pelvic Floor Series were reworked to have two components:

  1. 8-10 hours of pre-recorded video lecture (depending on which course)
  2. 2 days of lecture and hands-on labs.

The pre-recorded video lectures are available on Teachable, the online learning platform H&W is using. Roughly 14 days prior to the start date of their 2-day in person component, participants will receive an invite to join Teachable. On this platform, they will find all the pre-recorded videos, as well as their manual files, and all supplemental learning materials to review before the coures. Participants will now be able to learn the information contained in the pre-recorded lectures from the comfort and safety of home, on their own schedule (pause and resume) prior to coming to the in-person component ready to ask questions and start practicing hands-on skills during labs.

During the two-days of live learning, participants will experience both lecture and lab. Following the in-person component, they will log back into Teachable to complete their post-test, evaluation form, and download their certificate.

By moving some of the lecture content to a pre-recorded format which can be digested before we meet, we hope to maximize our in-person learning time (the interactive and experiential time that make gathering worth it).
