Sacroiliac Joint: Current Concepts in the Evaluation & Treatment
Course Description
This four-hour, remote course covers current concepts regarding evaluating and treating the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) and will be taught by Steve Dischiavi, PT, MPT, DPT, SCS, ATC, COMT. Contemporary literature will be provided, with the goal that participants can transition from an outdated examination and treatment approach to a more evidence-based model. The course will cover why therapists need to move towards a new paradigm with this region of the body, and an easy-to-follow exam sequence will be provided. The exam sequence will be followed by treatment strategies that align with the methodology of the exam, leaving the clinician with a clear-and-concise treatment strategy. Contemporary links to pain science will be covered as well.
