Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, Activcore (Princeton, New Jersey)

We are currently looking to fill both a full-time and a part-time position. What you’ll do:

  • Create unique, personal experiences for our clients as they progress through their "active for life" journey Spend 55 minutes of one-to-one treatment time with each client at every session
  • Establish personalized treatment plans leveraging clinically proven tools and modalities with measurable goals for each client
  • Be a leader or participatory member of clinical in-services, Activcore committees, and special projects that will seek to improve client treatment outcomes, community involvement, and center brand awareness
  • Continue professional growth as a clinician, where you will learn best treatment practices as established by our acclaimed Scientific Advisory Board, be mentored by other skilled and seasoned clinicians, and have the opportunity to treat utilizing the Redcord suspension system

  • Required Skills : What you’ll need: New Jersey PT License (Required) Master’s or Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy school
  • Active Physical Therapist license as approved by the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
  • At least three years experience as a working physical therapist; outpatient setting preferred
  • Experience in Pelvic Health for women and men
  • One or more functional movement based assessment course and/or certifications (Redcord NEURAC, SFMA, TPI or equivalent) Extensive experience leveraging knowledge of human anatomy, functional movement patterns, and current evidence-based practice
  • Proven strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working in a team environment
  • Displayed competency utilizing computer and tablet devices

We’d Love to See:

  • Completion of continuing education courses with an emphasis on manual therapeutic interventions and pelvic rehabilitation
  • Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) - a board certification from the American Physical Therapist Association as a physical therapist who has extensive clinical experience in the treatment of female-specific therapy issues as well as completion of case study and board examination.
  • Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification (PRPC) - a specialist certification through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Institute: “This certification is intended to distinguish professionals with expertise in treating men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction throughout the life-cycle, inclusive of bladder, bowel, gynecologic, orthopedic, sexual and obstetric topics.”
