Pelvic Physical Therapist will be responsible for a caseload consisting of but not limited to pre-natal and post-partum diagnoses, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, colorectal conditions/ chronic constipation, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, post urologic/gynecological surgery and diastasis recti management. The target candidate will have experience treating pelvic dysfunction in women, men, children. The ideal candidate will possess excellent manual therapy skills, a strong orthopedic background and work well in collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting. You will join a growing Pelvic Health Program and a team that is part of a progressive regional hospital. You will have access to mentorship with a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC). Our facility is equipped with the latest technology including sEMG and real time ultrasound (RTUS). There are opportunities to collaborate with local referring physicians to grow this program over the next several years. All of our treatments are one-on-one (45-60 minutes) with 1 hour evaluations in accordance with our organization’s commitment to excellence and quality care.
Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, including successful completion or required affiliations.
Experience: Levels 1,2A, 2B pelvic rehabilitation training through Herman and Wallace is preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation and orthopedic experience in treating spine and hip conditions preferred. 1 year of manual therapy experience preferred.
License/Registration: Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Washington.
Population Served: Pediatric, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Age, and Elderly.
