Physical Therapist, The Woman's Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery (Mesa, AZ)

Are you looking to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to providing excellent patient care? We are looking for an energetic, compassionate and motivated physical therapist to join our team. We are a urogynecology practice in Mesa, AZ. Urogynecology is a specialized field of medicine focused on the treatment of pelvic floor disorders. Our current staff consists of two urogynecologists, two nurse practitioners and a physical therapist. Our practice focuses strongly on a team approach in managing complicated pelvic floor disorders. The pelvic floor physical therapist will manage female patients with pelvic floor disorders including urinary incontinence, bowel incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse. Patient management includes evaluations, follow up visits, ​pre/post operative assessment and implementation of non-surgical treatment modalities. On-site training within this specialty will be provided. This is a position for an academically focused candidate who loves learning and expanding their interest in the field of women’s pelvic health. ​The physical therapist will enjoy treatment autonomy while having the professional support being part of a multidisciplinary team. The pelvic floor physical therapist must have a willingness to learn, a compassionate approach to women with pelvic floor disorders, and a desire to gain specialized training in the field of urogynecology. The position is open to new graduates.

Required Skills :
-Licensed to practice as a physical therapist in the state of Arizona
-Clinical experience in evaluation and treatment of female pelvic floor disorders preferred, but not required
-Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1, APTA Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Level 1 or comparable course preferred, but not required.
