Larissa graduated with an Associates of Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2004 and with her Bachelor of Arts in 2006 from Washburn University. She went on to graduate with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2011. She has worked in outpatient physical therapy with a specialty in orthopedics and pelvic health physical therapy since 2011. She received her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2016 and Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification in 2025. She has specialized in pelvic health therapy since 2011. She joined the pelvic health team at The University of Kansas Health System in May 2023.
