Isha Mody earned her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Manipal University in India and a Master’s in Exercise Science with a focus on Nutrition from Long Island University in Brooklyn.
Isha's interest in pelvic health began when she noticed pelvic floor dysfunction in many patients with chronic low back pain. She now specializes in pelvic conditions with a particular interest in bowel dysfunction, abdominal issues, and chronic pelvic pain. Isha holds certifications from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute and is a Corrective Exercise Specialist trained in orthopedic manual therapy and visceral manipulation.
Isha uses a functional, whole-body approach that integrates manual therapy, visceral techniques, movement, posture education, breath work, and a biopsychosocial lens. She treats bowel dysfunction, male pelvic health, pelvic pain, abdominal issues, prolapse, dyspareunia, and related conditions. She also uses Butterfly iQ ultrasound biofeedback to guide her assessments and treatments when needed. She also addresses orthopedic concerns, with an interest in spine and foot dysfunction.
Outside of work, Isha enjoys nature, running, biking, cooking, and exploring NYC’s vegetarian and vegan food scene. She believes nutrition and lifestyle are vital to healing.
