Lacey studied public health at Tulane University in New Orleans and then went on to pursue her doctorate degree in physical therapy at Rutgers University in 2018. Her experience spans a myriad of rehab settings, including general orthopedics, pelvic floor, oncology, vestibular, and home care. Her interest in pelvic floor therapy grew out of wanting to fill the unmet needs of patients in her community who expressed demand for pre- and postpartum care. Lacey pioneered pelvic floor services for women at an outpatient private practice in Brooklyn, New York, and since then has expanded her clinical experience to include working with all individuals across the gender spectrum at a hospital-based outpatient setting. In addition to experience in physical therapy, Lacey is a marathon runner, former USA Gymnastics competitive gymnast, public health advocate, and salsa dancer. She is an active member of the APTA, is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor, and is LSVT Big Certified. In 2025, Lacey received her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through Herman & Wallace.
