Nutrition Perspectives in Pelvic Rehab (NPPR) provides the health care professional with a unique and timely opportunity to explore multi-dimensional connections between physical therapy, pelvic rehabilitation, and nutritional sciences. This course is a 2.5-day content-laden and cutting-edge experience designed for clinicians ready to access organized and clinically relevant nutrition information accessible to all experience levels and practice settings.
Participants will be introduced to the latest research in nutrition through immersive lectures and hands-on labs. -Sarah R. Hnath, PT, DPTb - Greenwich, CT
This course was so wonderful! It has made me re-think my own diet. Megan has such a passion for what she is teaching, and how each of us as health practitioners have a responsibility to our patients (and ourselves and our families and friends) to educate on the role of nutrition in healing and in wellness. The first day after the course I spent in the OR waiting room w/ my brother-in-law as my sister was having a tumor removed from her brain. I was able to share w/ him nutritional ideas for healing, in particular healing the nervous system. He was so receptive. I made bone broth for the first time, switched from yogurt to Kefir and have become even more of a believer in Kambucha!
Currently I am making up a booklet (initially for my son who has had stomach troubles since we were in Nicaragua in March) and for patients - to help simplify this complicated information.
Thank-you so much to Megan - I was just so impressed and am so thankful for her course! Not to mention she is just such a smart and delightful person to be around.
