Amanda Alling received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007. In 2010, she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. Amanda has a special interest in treating lower extremity injuries and women's health related disorders such as incontinence, pelvic pain disorders and pelvic organ prolapse. Effective treatment strategies include biofeedback, manual therapy and individualized patient education. Amanda believes that a balance between therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques is essential to return a patient to their maximal level of function. Amanda is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In her spare time she enjoys running, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and dog.
