Dr. Bethany Doninger graduated in 1999 with a bachelors and departmental honors in biological sciences from the University of Kentucky. She continued with her education at UK and graduated with a bachelor's of Health Sciences and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2002. She was working in acute care and outpatient orthopedics when approached by an MD to begin a pelvic floor rehabilitation program in 2007 and quickly began to love working with this patient population when she discovered patients were suffering in silence with easily treatable pelvic floor conditions. She later returned to school to achieve her transitional doctorate in 2011 and concentrated her projects on pelvic floor disorder research and began training with the Herman and Wallace Institute. Bethany has achieved certificates of competency for treatment of mens, womens, and pediatric pelvic floor disorders and also has certifications in dry needling and ASTYM. Bethany enjoys working with her hands and has been trained in myofascial release and visceral mobilization techniques as well.

Bethany is married and has two children and currently lives in Georgetown, KY. She enjoys boating, hiking, pets, learning, and spending time with her kids. She currently works at Georgetown Community Hospital and treats patients with pelvic floor disorders across the age spectrum as well as general orthopedics.
