Alexandra Bertucci, PT, DPT, PRPC (East Norriton/Plymouth Meeting, PA)

Alexandra Bertucci, PT, DPT, PRPCAlexandra graduated in 2015 with an undergraduate degree in Biology from Arcadia university and continued her education at Arcadia to graduate from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2018. While in clinical rotations in school, Alexandra gained experience in various types of settings including inpatient rehab, pediatrics, and outpatient orthopedics. With some knowledge of pelvic floor from course work in school, Alexandra noticed a lack of referral to pelvic floor and women's health services across all settings. During her time in inpatient rehab while working with patients with spinal cord injuries, patients encouraged her to continue to explore this specialized field of physical therapy due to the impact that incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and other pelvic floor conditions play on quality of life and independence.

Alexandra started working in March of 2018 at Core 3 Physical Therapy in their new second location in East Norriton, Pennsylvania. With the inspiration from prior patients as well as mentorship at Core 3, Alexandra began immersing herself in Herman and Wallace courses right away. In her first 8 months of working, Alexandra took extensive course work while treating a variety of male, female, and pediatric pelvic floor patients. Within just over a year of starting in the field of pelvic floor, Alexandra took and passed her PRPC exam. Her passion for the field has encouraged her to continue advanced course work and pursuit of degrees, including WCS and McKenzie certifications, both of which she hopes to earn within the next 2 years.
