Naja Chikazunga-Martin brings a high level of energy and personality to the patients she treats. She was born in NYC and raised in Massapequa, New York.
Naja received her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy in 1999 from Florida A& M University. After working in various clinical settings- Outpatient, Acute-care, Inpatient-Rehab, Long-Term Acute Care Settings and Short-term rehabilitation; she began her mission to help women with the health issues that only occur in women. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014 from Simmons College and followed her passion- Women’s Health physical therapy.
Naja’s passion in Women’s Health as a physical therapist has led her to becoming a Certified Women’s Health and Nutrition Coach. She is advanced trained in Visceral Manipulation Techniques, Neural Manipulation, Myofascial Release Techniques and CranioSacral Therapy Techniques and behavior change techniques- all of which have equipped her with a variety of healthy living skills to serve as a catalyst for the body to feel and function better.
Naja currently works in an ObGyn’s office for a Multidisciplinary practice in Wesley Chapel Fl. Naja’s integrative approach enables her to provide unique support for the clients she services on their healthier life journey.
Outside of work, Naja enjoys practicing mindfulness meditation, gardening, family athletic time with her husband and sons 8 y/o & 5 y/o., all nature activities, picking fresh fruits & vegetables (blueberries are her favorite!) and getting 8 hours of quality sleep.
