PN TABS - Objectives

Upon completion of this continuing education seminar, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the neuroanatomy of the lumbosacral and sacral coccygeal plexus
  2. Distinguish the differential diagnoses for patient presenting with pudendal neuralgia
  3. Evaluate and diagnose pudendal neuralgia within lumbar spine and pelvic floor muscle presentations
  4. Apply neurodynamic principles in the treatment of patients presenting with nerve dysfunction
  5. Develop a multi-faceted approach to assess and treat the pudendal pain patient
  6. Describe medical treatment options available for the pudendal neuralgia patient
  7. Recognize orthopedic co-morbidities in the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex in patients with pelvic dysfunctions
  8. Perform Internal exam to evaluate and treat patient with pudendal neve dysfunction
  9. Recognize the need for addressing psychosexual health issues within this patient population
  10. Safely apply therapeutic exercise interventions to patients with pudendal nerve dysfunctions
  11. Educate patients in flare-up reduction procedures for pudendal neuralgia and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
