7:30 am PST - Zoom opens 30 mins before course for registration and setup
8:00 am PST - Course begins / Introduction, goals, and objectives
8:15 - Review of conditions that may limit participation in high intensity exercise during pregnancy (SPD, placenta previa, blood pressure changes)
8:45 - When to begin modifications during pregnancy (Olympic lifting, plyometrics, and gymnastics)
9:15 - Review of Signs and symptoms a load is beyond the patient’s tissue threshold
9:30 - Review of external support devices that may be beneficial to the appropriate patient
9:45 - Pregnancy Break Out Session/Case Studies
10:15 - Postpartum considerations for return to exercise: prior level of fitness, healing time (what the research says)
10:45 - Pressure management and breathwork strategies for high intensity exercise postpartum
11:15 - LUNCH
11:45 - Review of loads placed on the tissues with different types of high intensity exercise
12:30 - Review of modifications, and how to determine when to modify, and external support devices
1:00 - Postpartum Breakout Sessions/Case Studies
1:30 - Post test and wrap up
