Herman & Wallace offers a course focused on SI Joint Continuing Education titled Sacroiliac Joint Evaluation & Manual Therapy Treatment (SIJ). This continuing education course developed by Dawn Sandalcidi, PT, RCMT, BCB-PMD  reflects the neuromuscular and manual therapy techniques and philosophies learned from internationally recognized manual therapist Professor Mariano Rocabado, PT of Chile.

Upon completion of this continuing education seminar, participants will:
1. Understand the anatomy and biomechanics of the pubis and sacroiliac joints
2. Assess pubic bone, ilia, and sacroiliac dysfunctions in standing, sitting, supine and prone
3. Treat and provide specific corrections for home treatment of each dysfunction
4. Understand the role of the pelvic floor muscles in sacroiliac dysfunction and pelvic pain
5. Progress patients to an exercise program incorporating muscle balance for their pelvic girdle/postural dysfunction
6. Identify benchmarks for patient’s treatment and exercise progressions
