Dr. Mia Fine (they/she) is a white, Queer, neurodivergent, disabled, introverted, nerdy, and relationship-oriented human. They are also a Washington state clinical supervisor, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both private practice (Mia Fine Therapy, PLLC) and group practice (PNW Sex Therapy Collective) in Seattle, Washington. Mia recently achieved a PhD in Clinical Sexology and wrote a book titled 'From Unwanted Pain to Sexual Pleasure: Clinical Strategies for Inclusive Care for Patients with Pelvic Floor Pain' for their dissertation doctoral project

Mia is a student of Queer Theory, Intersectionality, and Social Justice, and offers holistic, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed therapy. They utilize the modalities of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Trauma Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Wheel of Consent, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Transformative Justice in their therapeutic and educational work.

Mia’s clients tend to be people navigating sexual health concerns, eroticism, intimacy, kink, LGBTQIA+ genders/orientations/sexualities, desire discrepancy, and navigating multiple intimate relationships. They are on the Pan Eros Board of Directors, an adjunct professor at Antioch University, and faculty at the Institute for Sexuality, Education, and Enlightenment (ISEE). Mia offers a variety of educational workshops and training for organizations, schools, and therapeutic practices. When they’re not working, you can find Mia practicing self-care by climbing mountains, spending quality time in community, and finding new and exciting ways to adventure.
