Low Pressure Fitness and Abdominal Massage for Pelvic Floor Care is a 3 day continuing education course on learning the application of the Low Pressure Fitness (LPF) training system and abdominal massage for pelvic health. A novel exercise therapy approach based on the hypopressive technique, self- abdominal massage care and breathing re-education is presented by Dr. Tamara Rial.

The Low Pressure Fitness training system and self abdominal massage are two excellent tools which can serve as an adjunctive therapy to manage a wide variety of pelvic and core health conditions. This course is intended for women’s health practitioners and will provide all the tools for abdomino-pelvic assessment and pelvic health treatment through the lens of intra-abdominal pressure management and pelvic viscera organ positioning.

During this course, participants will learn and practice the technical principals of hypopressive exercise, learn the level one Low Pressure Fitness sequence; learn and receive abdominal, pelvic, spinal and diaphragmatic release techniques, including self-care protocols; practice and learn a variety of depressive breathing techniques; and leave with a solid understanding of specific adaptations and clinical cases to apply Abdominal Massage and Low Pressure Fitness.

Herman & Wallace presents the first US edition of Low Pressure Fitness and Abdominal Massage for Pelvic Floor Care with Low Pressure Fitness founder Dr. Tamara Rial. Throughout their expertise in the area, they will guide and provide you with the necessary keys and knowledge to implement the hypopressive and visveral positioning techniques to any patient with pelvic health or abdominal issues. The students will learn passive positioning of the pelvic diaphragm and abdomino-pelvic organs, which is most efficiently accomplished through a daily self-abdominal massage. This massage greatly improves blood flow and lymphatic circulation to the gut and pelvic organs leading to improved digestion, organ detoxification and hormonal balance. It will also help to release any myofascial and ligamentous restrictions that are leading to mal-positioning of the organs or breathing dysfunctions. The passive organ positioning is followed by the active technique that will train the deep core muscles to keep the organs in their optimal position. The students will also learn active positioning of the pelvic and abdominal organs through a core neuro-reeducation technique, known as Low Pressure Fitness. The Low Pressure Fitness methodology involves a seamless progression of postures and poses that cause a reduction in pressure in the abdomen and triggers an automatic response from the core muscles- transverse, pelvic floor, multifidus, diaphragm, and glutes. Low Pressure Fitness and trains the diaphragm and pelvic floor muscles to keep the pressure in the abdomen low, elevate the pelvic organs, decompress the spine, and reflexively strengthens the deep core muscles leading to significant improvements in pelvic organ and pelvic muscle function.

We can also apply this discount if 2 therapists from a single clinic/hospital enroll in 3 or more courses (ie Registrant A enrolls in Course X and Course Y, Registrant B enrolls in Course X, and Registrants A and B both work at Clinic Z). This discount cannot be used in combination with any other discounts. Registration and payment must be received at the same time in one credit card payment, one check or one envelop with multiple checks. This type of registration cannot be completed online, if you are wishing to receive the Multi-Course discount please call or email us directly for assistance.

Course discounts for the Pelvic Floor Series are capped at 10% no matter the group size or number of registrations

    Group Discount

This discount is available for a group of three or more registrants, who all work at the same clinic/hospital, enroll in a single course, and pay in a single transaction or mail in multiple checks in a single envelope. This discount cannot be used in combination with any other discounts.

Groups of 3-5 receive a 10% discount off the combined price of their group's registrations.

Course discounts for the PF series are being capped at 10% no matter on group size or number of registrations - but will be staying the same for specialty courses.

    Student Discount

This 10% discount is available to current students who have yet to earn a license to practice at the time of course registration. Students are welcome to attend satellite and remote courses with H&W once they have reached their third year and/or completed a hands-on clinical in their second year. You may register while in your 2nd year for a course that is taking place by the time you have become a third-year student. However, students are not allowed to register or attend a self-hosted course.

To get this discount when checking out online, use the code STUDENT2023 for courses scheduled for 2023. (Note, this code is only valid for non-licensed students. The H&W admin team will verify that registrants signed up with this code are, indeed, current students prior to their attendance of the course).
