Shift: Flexible 8-hr shift 9am-6pm OR 10-hr shift 7:30am-6:30pm with Thursdays off.
The community you’ll be caring for: Pelvic Physical Therapy Patients

The role you’ll contribute:
When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve.
As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
● Engages in promoting evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/CI, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group
● Regularly participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships with a minimum of 2 contacts per month. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community as approved by manager or director
● Determines Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establishes plan of care, make recommendations for referral if treatment needed outside of scope of Physical Therapist practice.
● Eligible to perform Direct Access Physical Therapy in OP setting, as indicated per state Physical Therapy practice act.
● Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient’s needs. Monitors patient’s response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plan as appropriate.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
● Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist, or Temporary State of Florida permit as Physical Therapist
● Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred qualifications:
● 2 years of Pelvic experience and or completion of APTA PH1 webinar and lab courses.
