About the Role:
The Pelvic Place Physical therapy is a patient-centered, spa-like, self-pay (Does not accept Insurance) private medical practice in Houston Texas. We specialize in Women’s health and pelvic floor rehabilitation for all genders and all ages. Whether you're looking for part-time work to start or you're ready to jump into a full-time position, we can tailor the role to fit your needs. We previously accepted insurance but like many other private practices, we came to the realization that that was not the best fit for the level of care we provide. We re-evaluated and re-structured a few things and now we are ready to grow again. We need excited motivated and dedicated teammates to join the team! If you are passionate about Women’s Health and have an interest for Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, this position is for you.
We evaluate and treat Pelvic floor impairments of the vagina, penis, rectum, bladder, bowel, pregnancy, postpartum, chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunctions and such so you absolutely cannot be shy if you plan to work here. We are constantly talking and educating. Applicants should be able to relate to women's health concerns and feel comfortable seeing and treating male and female "bare" pelvic floor muscles daily. We utilize the latest and greatest research-based treatment protocols, tools, and modalities. You’ll work one-on-one with the owner of the practice and receive mentorship daily however, some level of Pelvic Floor Rehab experience, exposure, training and/or education is highly preferred. Qualified candidates will be asked to take at least 1 Pelvic Floor PT entry level course within the first 30 days of employment (visit APTA or Hermann and Wallace for Class dates and locations). • Deliver one-on-one, quality care Pelvic Floor Rehabilitative care, focusing on the concerns and goals of each patient. (Patient load 6-8 per day)
• Enjoy a setting where you have time to find and treat the root cause of your patients' issues —without being rushed or overloaded by the schedule.
• Participate in a supportive mentorship program that helps you develop your clinical judgement and differential diagnosis skills
• Work with patients who trust you as a provider and are committed to their care, not just following insurance requirements.

Mentorship Program Overview:
Dr. Amagoh has over 12 years of Women's and Men's Pelvic Floor Rehab experience will be available daily for co-treating, case preparation, and to answer any concerns/questions that arise. Daily/Weekly mentorship meetings to check-in as needed by either party will ensure continuous growth and development. *A Full standard Caseload is 7 patients per day. Treatments are never Double booked here.
• Week 1: Orientation, Observation, Manual skills training, Chart Review, Eval and treatment review, Pelvic Floor Exam/ screens, Documentation, goal setting, Modalities Review (US, laser, E-stim, EMG Biofeedback, Dry Needling, Anorectal Balloon Manometry, Vaginal dilators). Baseline skills establishment.
• Week 2: Co-treating to get familiar with clients, Case discussion on POC and execution of treatments Build schedule up to 25%
• Week 3: Co-treating. Begin treating on your own with support as needed build schedule to 25-50% capacity.
• Week 4: Co-treating. Gradually fill your caseload with a mix of existing and new clients. Build schedule up to 50-75%
• Week 5-8 (Month 2): Independent with up to 75% caseload. Focus on productivity and patient outcomes. Start marketing/sales Education.
• Week 9-12 (Month 3): Focus on Independence and Efficiency with full caseload with Marketing and Sale when applicable
