Mobilization of the Myofascial Layer

Mobilization of the Myofascial Layer

Fascia generally provides support and cushioning for organ systems, but overtime it can become stiff, causing discomfort and tension within the body. Myofascial release is a hands-on technique that relaxes soft tissue by applying pressure to stretch and lengthen the fascia. This massage technique releases pressure from blood vessels and nerves and can realign joints and improve mobility.
